About Me

I work at Simplify3D, a software company based in Cincinatti, OH which makes the world's best slicing software for 3D printers. There I get to work on AWS, as well as front and backend web development.

I enjoy hiking, canoeing, camping, woodworking, grilling on my weber, drinking bourbon, and the LSU Tigers.

Other Projects:

Secure Trade is a bartering platform for businesses which currently services trade groups in the southeast including Baton Rouge, Mandeville and New Orleans, LA. I am a partner and sole developer.

LeadGo is a lead management software as a service for the service contract space. I am a partner and lead developer.

Experience:

I've been coding in PHP & JavaScript since 2008. I enjoy database design and building both back and front ends for medium to large scale web applications.

I'm big on writing clean and efficient code and I tend to follow a test driven development pattern.

I try to keep up with the latest technology and frameworks available. For most projects, my favorite to work with are: Laravel, Vue, and Tailwind.

Open Source:

I helped develop and maintain Louisiana State University's learning management system using an open source solution called Moodle. LSU had developed a plugin that was very popular in the community which I rewrote to provide a bunch of new features.
